With the daunting task of finding a kitchen for a whole house refurb I wasn’t sure where to start. After visiting the big, high street names I decided I wanted to try a smaller, local, independent company for comparison. I’m so glad I found Jon and Mills Hill Kitchens.
He came to the house and listened carefully to our requirements, offering advice and suggestions when necessary. He then provided us with a rough plan and costings but required a small deposit to continue with a more detailed overview. At the time it did feel like a bit of a ‘leap of faith’ but I’m so glad that we did it. On top of being able to see the photos of his work on the website, Jon also arranged for us to visit a home where he had recently fitted their kitchen. This was a great opportunity and really helped to reassure us about the quality of his workmanship and reliability.
In terms of fitting, Jon was so accommodating with us as we had to delay the installation a number of times to work around the rest of the house refurb. Jon visited the house beforehand to liaise with our plumber and electrician. When it finally happened, Craig, the fitter, was fantastic! He arrived promptly every morning and worked like stink all day!! It was occasionally a bit difficult to decipher his strong Wigan accent but we got there!!!
We now have a BEAUTIFUL kitchen, designed just as we wanted, at an affordable and competitive price. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Mills Hill Kitchens.
